Broken Bow's festival calendar is small but it matters: a handful of weekends a year draw crowds from across the region, and those are the weekends when cabins in Hochatown book out first. If a festival is the reason for your trip, lock in your cabin as soon as the date is confirmed.
The big ones follow the seasons. Late summer brings the McCurtain County Free Fair to the county fairgrounds in nearby Idabel; fall is festival season proper, with downtown Broken Bow's fall celebration and the Beavers Bend Folk Festival & Craft Show inside the state park.
